Today we're testing the E210 Eeebox, primarily designed as a thin client but can do the job for Digital Signage aswell. It has a Celeron N2807 CPU, which means a dualcore running at 1.58Ghz but burstable to 2.16GHz. It also has 4GB memory and 32GB SSD internal storage.
It's not the most performant device out there, but with the built-in hardware accelleration it does HD videos just fine. But it's very affordable, and it has both legacy VGA and RS-232 outputs - could come in handy if you are looking for a device for use with an older screen.
Please note that the default version comes without an OS, so you need to install Windows yourself. Also it's pretty visually identical to the EB1036/1037 variants, so be sure you know exactly which once you're getting! :)

- Great combination with our new software with improved hardware accelleration
- Affordable
- VGA and RS232 serial for legacy screens
Cons:
- Doesn't ship with OS installed as default - adds a Windows license to the price in most cases
- Somewhat small internal storage
- Not as performant, not a good choice for advanced Signage such as Multizone.
