As the name implies, it has a Atom N2820 CPU, which unfortunately is a little lower specced than we'd like. It will do most HD videos just fine, but there's not much headroom for other things like tickers or Multizone.
It can do a great job as a player though, it's easily available from many sources and the price is reasonable. But our recommendation would be to either go with a Atom Z3537F based solution like the Zotac Pico 320 or rumored Intel Compute Stick, or kick it up a notch for a Celeron J1900 solution like the Shuttle or Asus EEE boxes.
The NUC is still a nice format, so if Intel either comes down in prices on the better specced ones or upgrades this low-end version it could be a very nice player indeed.
