Well, we didn't quite see this coming - we were hoping to see when the Compute Sticks with Apollo Lake would debut, but instead Intel decided to introduce their Intel Compute Card specifically designed for among other things Digital Signage.
There will be another refresh of the Compute sticks, but they might in the future be replaced by something like this? For sure this will be exiting to test when it arrives next summer!
