- Unless you are using transparency, use JPG images as they are much more space-efficient compared to PNG / BMP / etc.
- Use images that fit your screen 1:1, or at least are not that much bigger than your screen. (For example, 1920x1080 image on a 1366x768 screen). There's no point in using a larger image than your screen can display, you'll only add storage and datatraffic. Our system of course supports 4K resolution, if your players can actually display it, you can use 4K images without problems.
- If you want to convert or resize your images there are plenty of free tools available: For Windows there's the built-in Paint (Open-Save as jpeg) or Paint.Net, for Mac there's Paintbrush for Mac, there are also numerous online tools like WebResizer. Got other tips? Let us know! :)
- Original content in PDFs? No problem, you can use a online free PDF converter to extract your images. Please note that the images can be in very high resolution - check if you should scale them down before uploading them.
